Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. His fame was sparked by his appearance in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been in 20 feature films, such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he has appeared in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs as well as Scrubs, Lost Law & Order along with many other. The Hodgkin's lymphoma patient who survived, which he was diagnosed with at the age of 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. The cancer returned to remission 2 years after the diagnosis. His body was severely damaged by the treatment and his development was slowed down. Security in the financial realm was his primary aim once he started because he had experienced poverty all through his childhood. In the wake of living in poverty over the years I need the financial safety. Otherwise the world seems out of my control. In an interview the actor also discusses his own growing up. The goal of his is to end bullying. He says "Cruelty is a snare to my soul." On and off film, DJ's character would like to play a father. He does however admit that the directors rarely cast him for those types of characters. It's great to someday be the parent of his own child, at which point the time comes when he can devote much less time working and spend more time with his children.
