But she's more well-known for her role as the spouse of well-known golfer Sergio Garcia. Angela Akins Garcia spent most of her childhood in the shadows. The fact that she was married to a sporting star brought her more interest. But, the information about her childhood is scarce. Angela Akins Gracia developed a love of sports when she was a kid and decided to take up golf. In order to learn the art of creating an accurate and controlled swing Angela took a few lessons. Through the years Garcia picked up experience and participated in over eight tournaments for high school. During her days as the captain of the Mable Falls high school golf team, Garcia took her team to 3rd position in the 2003 regional tournament, and then they finished as sixth place in 2006. There is no doubt that she is a skilled golfer. To date she has earned over 17 gold medals at the National stage. Additionally, she is a member in the Women's Texas Golf Association. Garcia began her golf studies in Texas Christain University, where she spent two years studying before switching to University of Texas. The University of Texas provided her with more rivalry at the University, which made her abilities more pronounced over the course of time. Angela Akin Garcia, despite having found joy and satisfaction as a professional golfer, has never dreamed of pursuing the career. In the end, she opted to study journalism. Following her graduation and was offered a position in Fox Sports Southwest as a journalist.
